My name is pronounced “Ri-CHEE” and I go by lots of titles, but at my core, I’m a creator who loves to inspire others through my work.
What's in a name?
“My career path has been an intentional mix of what makes sense and what makes me happy. The journey itself is by far my greatest creation.” —Riche
A LAWYER-TURNED-ENTREPRENEUR…
I’m a serial entrepreneur who started my first venture at 26 as the president and chief academic officer of Innovative Study Techniques (IST), a test prep, tutoring and admissions company that I founded in my hometown after graduating from Columbia Law School. Thousands of students and countless success stories later, I have no regrets about choosing education over law at the start of my career. I’m still licensed to practice law in New York and Maryland, but only the fun stuff!
In 2021, I joined Brown University’s Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence and a member of the President’s Advisory Council on Entrepreneurship. And, in 2022, I was awarded the Barrett Hazeltine Prize in Entrepreneurial Mentorship, named after my first professor at Brown in honor of his 50+ years of dedication to mentoring, and in particular, of his mentorship of aspiring entrepreneurs.
A DESIGNER + TV HOST…
I’m a self-taught designer who got my start at the bottom, literally. While on maternity leave from IST, I worked in my basement while my baby was asleep to develop functional and fashionable products that would complement—not cramp—my mommy style. I launched the patented BambiniWare collection in 2013 on my daughter’s first birthday.
A year after we launched, BambiniWare was hand-picked by Martha Stewart to be a partner in the highly curated Martha Stewart American Made Market. And a year after that, BambiniWare was a Style category finalist in the Martha Stewart American Made Awards.
In the interior design space, I hosted “Home Upgrade,” the Telly Award-winning TV home makeover show by REAL SIMPLE which streamed on PeopleTV. In each episode, I used my design and DIY skills to help hard-working and well-deserving people transform rooms in their homes in need of serious upgrades. Click here to watch now!

My specialties include home decor + tabletop, recipe development, DIY projects and human interest stories. My clients have included Martha Stewart, Better Homes & Gardens, REAL SIMPLE, Williams Sonoma, west elm, The Home Depot, Google, Subaru and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, among others. AN EXECUTIVE PRODUCER…
I started my on-screen career as the executive producer + host of “The Riche Life” web series, where I inspire other women to lead happy, fulfilling, perfectly-imperfect lives, defined on their own terms.
It's a mash-up of everything I do in my roles as a mom, wife, designer, creator, home cook, entrepreneur, educator and all of the other beautiful things in my life that make me rich (pun totally intended!). My most popular content?! Tablescapes!
In my latest project, I’m executive producing “Good Home Training,” a feature-length documentary film about the history of Black women in lifestyle and culinary spaces.
